Mateo's Ice Cream & Fruit Bars / Yummy Yummy Thai Food

Holaaaa everyone!!! <333 Spring is back and it's hotter than ever in California! Last week was crazy hot, it was 97 degrees out!!! What better way to cool off by eating some bomb ice cream. My friends and I usually go out get some Yogurtland, which I'm always down to go but I wanted to try something different. I heard of Mateo's before I saw a lot of pictures on Instagram and it looked so good. I dont know about you but I loooove me some paletas!!!! I haven't had one in years so I called my gurl,  Christina to try out this super cool paletas shop with me.

I went on Google Maps so we can know the directions to go and I was surprised they had one that only 10 mins away from my house. :D So we went to the one in Culver City and I was surprised because I was around this area last week and I didn't noticed this place at all. I am very happy I went to this one because, It was amazing.

Oh Hello Christina! <3 :3

So We decided to go in and we we're in awwwed!

Everything about this place is so colorful and inviting!!! I love the decor!!! I got instantly happy and I couldn't wait to try out the ice creams and fruit bars! Super yum! :3

Omg! They all look so delicicous, I really wanted to try like everything in this place. They even have sandwiches, smoothies, natural pressed juices, and milkshakes :O

It took Christina and I awhile before making our decisions to see what to get because everything looked so goooooooood! After 15 mins of thinking about flavors and trying samples of the deliciousness...

I got the Mango Con Chile Paleta (Fruit Bar)

I love mango and anything with chile so this was the perfect paleta for me!

Christina decided to get the Pineapple and Coconut mix Ice Cream.

They were  $2 each. So all together $4 no tax. Which is pretty darn good! <3

Even the table and chairs looked so cute and inviting! <3 Yaaah, I rather go here than to Yogurtland anytime.

Christina enjoying her Pina Colada ice cream! <3 It looks so good!

C: The ice cream was not too overpowering, it was a perfect mix of coconut and pineapple, while not being overly sweet. The flavors hit the tongue lightly and were refreshing on that afternoon. I had sampled the lemon, and it was a stronger which would be amazing on a hot summer day for those who love sour and citrus. I know it will be my next buy there.

Me, (tia) always keeping my selfie game strong with my new best friend mango con chile paleta! <3333

I loved this paleta so much because with every bit I tasted the real mango chunks. It was the perfect amount of chile in this paleta so it didnt take over the mango flavor.  This is the real deal, no artficial fruit or juices up in here. It was made from real juice of a mango and it was so good! <3

If you're curious about the what other flavors they have, Here is the menu:

Close Up!

Here are the Locations:

Christina even made a cool Pararoma picture of the whole place.

The place obviously very known because one minute it was just me and Chistina and then bam the next minute, they were kids , teenager hanging out here, parents, older gentlemans and ladies in here trying to get come and get some ice cream.

Overall: I'm just happy that now I know this place too. It has so many great flavors to choose, awesome prices and not only ice cream but sandwiches, milkshakes, and even pressed juices. I will give this place 5 stars!!! <33333 I love this place and this is definetly my new hangout spot with my friends! ;3

This place seem so empty we didn't know it was Open or not but I'm happy we pulled the door to see because the food was really good. We had to wait awhile for the food to come but it was worth the wait. :3

Everything was just ... <3333 That's all I can honestly say because it was just so good! Everything was just perfectly seasoned and I love every bite I took.

After eating I looked around and noticed a lot more customers were in the restaurants and that made me happy because good food like this should be recognized!!!

All these small restaurants in plaza building that don't look so great , are always the one that have the best food ever. So please support small business and enjoy great food with people you love and enjoy the small things in life! <3
